Meet Dr. Samantha Gehr
Dr. Samantha Gehr is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and received both her Master’s and Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. She is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). She has worked with individuals, families, couples, children, and adolescents in a variety of settings including community mental health centers, psychiatric hospitals, hospital-based outpatient clinics, and group practice.
Sam is a founding Psychologist at Cira Center for Behavioral Health (CCBH), starting with us almost 7 years ago, and CCBH’s first Director of Training, taking the lead on developing our training program and supervising our non- and provisionally-licensed clinicians. She is now our acting Clinical Director, overseeing a Team of almost 30, and helping grow CCBH from a 3 person startup to an almost 30 person, 7-figure company and one of the premiere outpatient trauma practices in Chicago.
